A Project Lumina anunciou que Melty Blood: Type Lumina recebe dois novos personagens DLC gratuitos, um novo modo Boss Rush e até mesmo legendas em português do Brasil no dia 15 de dezembro.
Os dois personagens DLC são Ushiwakamaru e The Count of Monte Cristo. Além do Boss Rush, também teremos 10 músicas remasterizadas de Melty Blood Actress Again, quatro novas cores para todos os personagens, 530 palavras na customização e, como mencionado, legendas em português do Brasil.
