A NetEase Games anunciou que Marvel Rivals recebe em 2026 alguns modos tematizados com os filmes dos Vingadores do MCU.
Primeiramente, temos um vídeo que recapitula tudo o que o jogo recebeu até agora.

Em seguida, temos o anúncio dos eventos baseados nos filmes. Basicamente teremos um modo para cada filme dos Vingadores até chegarmos em “Vingadores: Doutor Destino”.

O primeiro evento será com Loki. Em abril, teremos um modo PvP assimétrico: um jogador controla Loki e enfrenta outros seis jogadores que controlam heróis diferentes.
Loki possui um conjunto de habilidades totalmente novo, combinando engano, ilusões e os poderosos poderes das Joias do Infinito para fazer com que os inimigos lutem entre si. Para garantir a vitória, os outros heróis também podem invocar o Hulk sob certas condições, recriando cenas icônicas do filme.

Vale notar que um vazamento no Reddit indicava algo do gênero e sugere que os eventos serão todos nesse estilo, com Ultron e Thanos a seguir. Como Thanos ainda não está no jogo, ele provavelmente seria adicionado ao game até lá.
Por fim, Psylocke recebe um novo traje “Once-Captive Corsair” nesta semana.
